Fortaleza:

With nearly 2.5 million inhabitants are below the equator and is the farthest from the touristcities of northeastern Brazil. The city is a major tourist center, the capital of forró (folk dance created by the fishermen of the region) is approximately half a million tourists every year attracted by the dazzling 25 miles of coastline, 25 beaches covered with beautiful dunes. 

The Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza is a modern architectural profile and has an excellent infrastructure of hotels and nightlife. For its positioning on the equator the climate is tropical with temperatures sharply between 25 º C and 28 ° C., where it hardly ever rains.

Cumbuco:

Fishing village of just 1,500 inhabitants, situated 35 km north of Fortaleza, encircled by impressive sand dunes and white sand beaches, lagoons and palm trees. Ideal for aquatic sports, relax or enjoy the services offered by restaurants, bars, caopeira etc.

Taiba:

Fishing village of 3,000 inhabitants located 75 km from Fortaleza. Surf spot known for its perfect waves and the fresh water lake. Have inns, restaurants and shops.

Paracurú:

Pretty town of about 25,000 inhabitants located 85 km from Fortaleza. One of the best places in Brazil for practicing kitesurf with flat water, constant waves and wind.

Lagoinha:

Located about 125 kms from Fortaleza is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the state of Ceará. So is this beautiful beach whose tip moves toward the sea, with its sand dunes of different colors, palm trees that wind balance and a small lagoon where you can navigate.

Fleixeiras

It is characterized by natural pools formed by the reefs at low tide. Ideal place for water sports and ecotourism activities.

Mundaú:

Located 17 kilometers from the city of Trairi. It is characterized by combining geographically river, sea, sand dunes and coconut trees in one place.

Icaraizinho de Amontada:

Beautiful place located about 140 kms from Fortaleza with quiet beaches, ideal for kite surfing and windsurfing with winds of 20 to 30 knots.

Ilha do Guajirú:

Ecological paradise located about 170 kms from Fortaleza in the mouth of a river. You can navigate into the river in high tide or in the open sea.

Jericoacoara:

He was considered one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world, according to the newspaper The New York Times. And there’s no doubt who the natural beauty of the dunes, the gaps formed between the dunes, the wind sculptures formed simple as the icon of Pedra Furada place. Lovers of windsurfing and kiteboarding area are guaranteed by the wind which blows almost all year round. The beach is considered one of the best for the sport. It also highlights the surf, rally, trekking and other sports.

Tatajuba:

Considered one of the most beautiful tropical paradise in northeastern Brazil. Tatajuba still retain their natural charms of the place. Of white dunes, coconut trees and swamps. It is interesting to visit the fishing village. Access is via car with four-wheel drive.
